It’s what every member of Generation Facebook has been waiting for– the opportunity to be friends with The Bosch on Facebook. Well, it is something to do with Facebook in between games of Scrabulous.

Here is a very nice review from the October issue of Hear/Say Magazine, which is one of those magazines actually printed on paper and distributed to college bookstores and select indie music stores:

Release Day

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

Hurry Up is officially released today! What does that mean? You can buy it online here at the Boschcast store. Here’s a great review at ReadJunk:

Ever notice that garage bands rarely ever ROCK? Weird, right? Well, The Bosch ROCK. They hit all the right notes – their garagey swagger isn’t hipsterish – it’s a genuinely cool Lou Reed thing with even a little Joey Ramone in there. The music is great – an immensely likable mix of 60s garage, 50s r&b, and Strokesy rock. They’re also one of the only garage bands that incorporate keys and horns and have it sound awesome.

Read the rest of this very flattering review: Bosch, The “Hurry Up EP”We’re playing a couple of dates outside of the city, but still in the greater metro NYC area over the next couple of weeks, hitting Nyack, NY on Saturday Oct. 6 and The Clash Bar in Clifton, NJ on Friday October 12.

Look, over there!

Live on BTR

Friday, June 29th, 2007

While the band prepared to play Pianos, the teletype machine here at The Bosch World HQ printed out a message:

LETS RECORD LIVE SESSION STOP
REPORT TO BTR LIVE STUDIO STOP
LOC 4 8 15 16 23 42 STOP

We went on eBay to find a used Enigma machine to decipher the coordinates in the message, and duly reported to a recording studio secreted away in lower Manhattan and recorded a live set for Breakthru Radio. The session goes live today.
